"Love this -- the materials, the features, the performance, but I have two questions: 1) Why not add a hook so that the straps allow you to carry it horizontally, not just vertically and 2) Why is there not a handle on the side with the zipper access for the iPad slot? Both decisions strike me as counter-intuitive"

"I never write reviews but this is a well executed product that fits my needs perfectly. I travel a lot for work, with an equal mix of 2 hr domestic flights in coach to 17hr international flights in business class. I have spent many months looking for an “in seat bag” that carries my tech essentials plus a few snacks separate from my work briefcase/ laptop bag. If I need to grab my laptop I’d prefer to grab it from the overhead compartment than keep it with me at my seat. The two largest items it needed it to fit were my Kindle scribe (with case) and Bose headphones. They fit perfectly in the Boarding Kit 4L with plenty of room for charging cables, notepad, snacks, etc. Now on EVERY flight, regardless of duration or class of service, I plop into my seat with a bottle of water and my boarding kit and I am set. Thank you Black Ember for this one!"
"I bought this boarding kit for short trips and daily carry, and it exceeded my expectations. Build quality is solid, stitching looks clean, and the compartments are thoughtfully laid out for chargers, cables, and toiletries. The handle is comfortable and the bag fits easily in overhead bins or under the seat."

"I am a new customer, but a massive fan. I started with the Forge 40 a few months ago, and then got the Citadel. I loved the idea of the Boarding Kit so I got that a few weeks ago. My first trip was this past week, and I am so bummed out. . . . I have never lost anything on a plane, and on the Boarding Kit's maiden voyage, I accidentally left it at my seat. Someone was almost as excited as I was about having it, because it was gone when I enquired with the airline. I wish I had more experience with it to review. The 2 weeks I had it were great!"

"I've had this bag for just over a month now, using it for work and air travel. and I love it! Its size is extremely practical and has enough room for all my electronics travel essentials (Phone and tablet chargers and cables along with a compartment for my 11" tablet!) One of the reasons I bought this was so I could travel will all of my electronic accessories in one spot and this bag fit comfortably into my backpack or suitcase. Overall, this bag does not disappoint, and I am extremely happy with this purchase!"
