I bought the DEX 45 in the EU, after a try with the materials and quality of BE with the TKS. No surprises: the bag is stunning. I love organization and this product excels for that. \n\nPROs:\n- materials look superb. The bag is pretty stiff and I was expecting that, as the weight and the thickness makes this product pretty bombproof.\n- there’s no perfect bag but this is pretty close to be so for my specific needs. I needed a bag for my everyday swim activities (over engineered just for this) and, at the same time, a week-end bag for my short out of the town seaside escapes: I often use the train for my short trips and the possibility to change from duffel mode to backpack is really a plus for me. \n- organization of the pockets is well thought and there are many possibilities to find a proper personal way to arrange your garments or gear. \n- I do love BE idea of their theft deterrent zippers. Using trains and underground make me fill more secure\n- side pockets and zippers work flawlessly.\n\nCONs:\n- funny that there’s no theft deterrent zip possibility with the big pocket on the back/bottom where you store your PC/tablet. Why?\n- being the bag pretty stiff please expect some extra movements in order to unzip the pockets to host the travel kit from one side or the shoes/pod bag on the opposite side, especially if the DEX is not fully packed. The problem should then be gone when the bag is full and the edges tightly pulled.\n- I found very difficult to hang-up and disengage the shoulder straps to/from the proper cloth loops. The metal clip is really hard to push and insert properly and quickly. I hope this will become quicker by using them more often, but it is a bit frustrating to be honest.\n\nAll the rest is perfect. Do not expect a real 45l space when you open from the top as the pockets organization “steal” some space in the main compartment, but the bag is big enough for a 5-6 days during summer time (as clothes are lighter and thinner), but 2-3 days for winter garments. Of course this very personal and depending on everyone’s habits. \nI do suggest the hip belt if you pack this bag heavily. It would really help your back during long trips. \n\nExcellent job guys with some minor improvements to be done according to my personal usage (still limited after only 20 days).

I love this bag, there's no other like it and I have looked, A LOT. You can literally feel the quality! It holds my entire remote work life and all the things this sweaty beast needs to get huge at the gym. Zippers are perfect, compartments are perfect, retains its elegant shape no matter how much you stuff it and feels like it's gonna last a lifetime. These people need to make suitcases because I would go ALL IN if the superb quality of make and design carries over. Best bag company I've come across in years!
