The CITADEL_R3 is the third edition in our weatherproof EDC pack series. The R3 features our latest textile: EmberTex™. 

With EmberTex™ we have now removed all PFAS (forever chemicals) from our supply chain. EmberTex™ is a twisted nylon 6 with an abrasion resistant matte finish, a lustrous texture and a smooth hand feel. The 1200x600 Denier gives it more structure for ease of packing and access.

Combined with YKK® Aquaguard zippers, the R3 is durable and weatherproof. Laser-cut and Bonded hypalon panels embedded in the R3’s shell add structure where it's needed. Ergonomic 3D shoulder straps with two densities of EVA foam provide both cushion and support. The pack also has a contoured back-panel with an air-channel to keep you cool and dry. The CITADEL 25 also features our latest T6 anodized aluminum hardware.

The CITADEL 25 is designed to keep your gear organized and protected. Your essentials are right at hand in the quick access pocket and laser-cut, locking zipper pulls help secure your gear. The magnetic tablet sleeve fits iPads up to 13 inches and there’s a separate laptop pocket that's both padded and suspended. Compression straps are great for attaching gear to the outside and you can carry the R3 in brief mode with a modular side handle. 

All Black Ember products are made using our BOND-STITCH™ high-precision construction. All textile components are Laser-Cut for precise assembly. This construction yields a functional, durable pack with a blacked-out, minimal aesthetic.
